Homework

Tonight's homework:

- Read for 20 minutes (or more!)
- Reading log (due Friday)
- Math packet (due Friday)

Today we practiced identifying and comparing different amounts of money (coins and bills < $5.00).  We also created staple food crops that will be the main resource for the civilizations that we are creating in Social Studies.  Tomorrow we will be working on the land and climate that supports our civilizations.  In writing, everyone did a fantastic job of finding facts about animals!  Parents, ask your children what they learned about their animal today.  Some of the animals we are researching include the giant panda, turtles, sharks, tapirs, monkeys, rays, jaguars, dolphins and more!

Have fun!
